Locking Bail Pin for Handle on the Reese Elite Series 27K 5th Wheel Hitch

Question:
I have the Ford Reese 27k fifth wheel hitch on my 2017 F450. Im looking for a lock to replace the bail pin that locks the release handle in place so that no one can tamper with the mechanism at a rest stop. Whats the best lock for the job? Thanks.

In order to lock the handle on your Reese Elite Series 27K 5th wheel hitch, I recommend using the Master Lock Laminated Steel Padlock part # ML312D. This lock will replace the bail pin and allow you to keep others from tampering with the handle on your 5th wheel hitch. They do not make an exact replacement locking bail pin for this purpose but the above padlock will work well for you.
