I have a 2001 dodge ram 2500 long bed and I just need the measurements to install the rails for a 15k Reese fifth wheel

Since your 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 is a long bed truck the correct rear rail placement dimension is 32-7/16 inches. This dimension is the distance from the rear truck bed edge to the rear rail edge. Then to place the front rail you use the fifth wheel hitch so that the hitch fits the rails as easily as possible.
