Question:
I understand that the red wire on the fixture is the hot wire and the Black wire is ground. In my trailer my black wire is connected to a green wire too! is this also a grounded wire? my other wire is white! Does that mean it is the hot wire? I just need to know that by installing the red wire to the white wire in my trailer is the correct way. Also the black wire on fixture is ok to connect to the black and the green wires in my trailer?

You are correct that the red wire is for power and the black is for ground on the Gustafson RV Pancake Light # 277-000340. When it comes to connecting it to the wiring in your trailer unfortunately there are no standards when it comes to that wiring.
Simply test each wire with a circuit tester like part # PTW2992 to see which one receives power and then connect the red wire to that.
