Question:
Hi, I have a 1998 Dodge 3500 1-Ton Dually, I am installing a Aluma Brand Aluminum Flatbed, I have a Reese 5th wheel hitch I am also installing.. How many inches Clearance do you recommend between the top of the tire and bottom of the FlatBed to prevent the tires rubbing the bottom of the Flatbed from squatting when hooked up to our Camper.. Thank You

I can't give you the specific number of inches from the bed to the top of the tire, but I don't suggest having the flatbed lower than the top of the frame at the wheel well. To minimize squat and keep your wheels from impact with the flat bed, I recommend the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TUR350. These springs will give you load support and minimize body roll. They will help your truck when under load from your 5th wheel or any other load.
