For your 2017 Ford F-250 and Swiss Truck Bed Cap, I recommend taking a look at the Pop & Lock Power Locking Handle for Truck Caps part # PAL9555. You will need one system for each t-handle on your truck bed cap. They will actually replace the handles themselves as long as the opening for them is 1-1/8" in diameter.

In regards to wiring them in-line with the factory tailgate lock, you will want to splice the signal wire from each kit into the factory tailgate unlock signal wire. Pop & Lock stated that they have not yet tested this so a write-up and guarantee would not be available. However, I am fairly confident that it should work for you as it will be no different than their standard tailgate locks ability to splice into the door lock signal wire.
