Question:

Does this fit a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 with the rear bezel cover/panel removed obviously? I am seeing that many hitches dont fit. And I am also seeing that in the QandA that a tech says it does fit the SRT but in the description it says excluded SRT, so which is it yes or no?

Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75699 fits both SRT-8 models and regular models of the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Our fit guide has a drop down menu that allows you to choose SRT-8 or non-SRT-8 so that is why it shows up in both places.

If you plan on doing some towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.

If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.

For trailer wiring you can use # 118425 to add a 4-Way trailer wiring harness to the rear of your Grand Cherokee.
