What’s the distance the rear bar should be from the back glass and what distance should the front bar be from the front glass

If you are referring to the Thule roof rack that fits a 2018 Subaru WRX part numbers # THKIT3131, # TH7602B-TH7603B it installs to the roofs pre-set factory fixed points for a roof rack so there wouldn't be a way to deviate where you install the rack from that.

Go out to your vehicle and look for the factory fixed points and that's where the roof rack will install.
