Replacement Parts for Chariot Child Bike Trailer

Question:

Ive inherited a 20-year-old Rhode Gear child bicycle trailer Rhode Chariot model. It needs a replacement for part of the hitcha short rubber shaft with a spherical end, about 1inch dia. Any ideas how to find it?

The Rhode Gear brand disappeared from the landscape some years back after it was acquired by Yakima Racks.

The Chariot brand name is associated with Thule, who now markets active-lifestyle products
under that name which include things like strollers and bike trailers like their Cadence model # TH10101802 and other products shown on the linked page.
