I just want to make 100 sure these will fit my 88 Astro. So will these extension mirrors fit for sure? Thanks. Had some bad experiences in past with items fit for my old Astro.

Yes, as long as your factory mirrors look like the attached image, the Longview Custom Towing Mirrors # CTM1200, will fit your 1988 Chevrolet Astro Van.
These mirrors will fit directly over your factory mirrors and are designed to fit the 1986 to 2005 Chevrolet Astro Van and 1988 to 2005 GMC Safari Van.
