Question:

I like to buy the 16k Reese hitch rp30047 .Can you please check and see if it will fit on my Reese 30048 tube slide hitch

The Reese 16K 5th Wheel Hitch part # RP30047 is a fixed 5th wheel hitch designed to be used in trucks with a 8' bed. If you have a 6-1/2' bed then you would need to remove the head part # RP30047A and use it with a sliding base like part # RP30048 or part # RP50024 as this will give you the turning clearance needed for a truck with a 6-1/2' bed.

The Reese 16K 5th Wheel Hitch part # RP30047 is not a sliding hitch. The slider version of the Reese 16K 5th Wheel Hitch is part # RP30051. The Replacement Head Assembly for Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part RP30047A will fit onto both of the above bases.
