Comparing the Aries Advantage Headache Racks for 2500 Short Bed Versus Long Bed
Question:
Hi. I found a great deal on an Aries advantedge headache rack it is part # 1110204 for all Chevy gmc excluding 8’ bed. I have a gmc 2500 with an 8’ bed. Aries calls for part # 1110205 for 8’ bed. Is there a difference in the stake pockets on a 6’ compared to an 8’ bed?

I reached out to my contact at Aries and the difference between the # AA1110204 for the short bed and the # AA1110205 for the long bed 2500 is about a 1/4 inch in width. The 1/4 inch doesn't sound like much, but is the difference between a fit to your 2500 with 8 foot bed or not according to the manufacturer.
