Solution for Improving Ride Quality of Fifth Wheel Hitch with Reese Revolution VHD 10K225W

Question:
I am looking to replace the pin I currently have with something like a Trailair to cushion the camper. It has a Reese Revolution VHD 10K225W model. What do you recommend? Thanks

I reached out to my contact at Reese and confirmed that the Reese Revolution vhd-10K-22sw is a factory fit that is not offered in a replaceable option. Basically because of the smaller width and mounting style there is not a replacement with an aftermarket pin box. That unfortunately means there is not an air ride option for your trailer.
If you are experiencing too much jarring or chucking, you may want to consider replacing your 5th wheel hitch. They recommend either the the 20k # RP30081. The Titan has a 360 degree jaw design for a tight fit to the king pin and has a cushioned head to help smooth out the ride.
Typically it's the hitch that causes chucking or noise when towing so a cushioned hitch with a tight jaw design will be the best option.
