Its says 30,000 BTU Total This is the model.American Range AFCT-15 This is the LP hook up specs GaS SUPPLY: 3/4” NPT Gas inlet 7” to 9”W.C. Manifold pressure is 5.0”W.C. for natural gas, or 11” - 12” Manifold pressure is 10.0” W.C. for propane gas. Can i hook this fryer up to a Portable Propane tank to work and be be safe ? To connect your 40 lb portable propane tank, you will want the MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail - Stainless Overbraid # 100833-15. Then you will want the MB Sturgis Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator - 11" Water Column Outlet # 108221. We do not have the adapter for the 3/4 inch NPT as that is not typical for RV use, so you will need to get a hose from a local home improvement store that has an adapter to the 1/4 inch male pipe thread to connect to the regulator.

That combination will work great for your foot cart fryer and will be safe as long as you put Loctite Thread Sealant 545 # LT37482 on all male pipe thread (also known as NPT for national pipe thread) connections.
