how does the quick connection work?

After the initial installation of the Camco Quick Hose Connect # CAM20135 that you referenced, you simply need to raise the lower of the 2 bigger black pieces and pull the hose down as is demonstrated in the attached video.
To reconnect it you just need to lift that same black part and then insert the hose connection.
