The Curt Trailer Wiring Harness, part # C55550, is actually not a confirmed fit for your 2008 Kia Sorento. It fits models from 2003 to 2006.
The correct harness for your 2008 model is part # C56332 as long as you have the factory tow package. I've linked a video of it being instled on a 2014. The connection point is behind the rear bumper, on the driver's side. Once you've made that connection insert the included 10-amp fuse into the fuse holder to complete the install.
If you don't have the tow package instead you need part # C59236 which needs to be hardwired into your Kia.
