There are snow socks which fit 225/60-17 tires, the ISSE Hybrid Snow Socks # TCH70. These snow socks are Class S and will fit your 2014 Subaru Outback so long as there is a minimum of 1.46" (37 mm) between the top of the tire tread and the wheel well and at least 0.59" (15 mm) between the tire's sidewall and the vehicle itself. I've added a link to a video review of these snow socks for you to take a look at.
