Need to replace key cylinder. How do I remove the black plastic cylinder cover on the inside of the cargo box? Thanks.

If the lock cylinders on your Thule Ascent 1100 are Thule One Key System locks you'll need the Universal Change Key for Thule Locks # 853-1251. That will allow you to install new One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450200 or if you need a quantity of four # TH450400.
I have linked a video for you which shows you exactly how to do this, and attached a photo from the instruction manual of the Ascent for another reference.
