Hi, I purchased the Thule Cargo Basket TH859XT and now need something to keep my spare tire in place on the rack. I have a 16” wheel. What do you recommend?

I have a solution for you, but there isn't one specifically made for the Thule Cargo Basket, so using different clamps may be required to fit the basket rungs properly. I recommend using the Spare Tire Carrier for Yakima Roof Rack Cargo Baskets # Y07076. This carrier has a base that measures 5-3/4 inches by 12 inches and will accommodate spare tires up to 35 inches in diameter. It is also lockable with a 1/4 inch shackle padlock if you desire like # 141T.
