Is Camco Adjustable Height Platform Step # CAM43676 Difficult to Adjust

Question:
Some reviews indicate that it's difficult to adjust the height. Out of the box, is it set for 7.5, 8 or 9 inches? Thanks?

To adjust the height of the Camco Adjustable Height Platform Step # CAM43676 you have to push the button in as you slide the leg in or out. It comes in the highest 9 inch setting.
