Utility Trailer Right Side Tail Light Not Working After Checking Bulb and Socket

Question:
Brake lights work both sides, signal lights work both sides, Running lights good on left side do not come on right side. checked wiring, changed bulb and bulb socket clean. any ideas?

The first thing I would do is check to see if there is a jumper wire from the working left side tail light wire going to the right side that is not working and check that wire for voltage. You may find that the tail light jumper is damaged and will need to be repaired.
If your trailer wiring has a separate tail light wire going down the right side of the trailer, check that wire for power and then for problem areas.

If the wiring checks out right, check the right side light and trailer connector for good ground connections. Normally the trailer light is grounded through the mounting stud and the tail light might not be able to complete the circuit due to corrosion or a bad connection.
