Question:

I have a 2015 Nissan Frontier Crew cab. I would like to put a front mount receiver hitch to haul bicycles when towing my RV. What do you recommend for hitch receiver and what bike rack for two bicycles?

I recommend installing the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 65075 on your 2015 Nissan Frontier. This is a no-drill installation and will give you a 2 inch hitch receiver. Please note that the front air dam will have to be trimmed or removed for the install.

A great bike rack for this application is the Kuat Beta # B202-2. This 12.6 lb bike rack is compatible with your 2 inch receiver and can carry up to two 40 lb bikes. The Beta also features a shorter distance between the arms which will reduce the need for an Adapter Bar # UB01. An adapter bar is sometimes needed for bikes that do not have a horizontal top tube like a traditional men's bike does for extra ground clearance and to hold the bike more level.

This bike rack does not come with security features but you can add them using the Kuat Bike Rack Hitch Lock # HL2 and a cable lock # e98891.

You will want to make sure that the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole on your receiver is less that 7-1/2" so as to accommodate the bike rack.
