How Does Brake Controller Install in 2007 Chevy Suburban
Published 10/24/2017 >
Question:
I currently have a 2000 Chevy Suburban 1500 LT with a Tekonsha 9030 Voyager brake control. I recently purchased a 2007 Chevy Suburban 1500 LT. Would I be able to transfer this brake controller into my newer Suburban? The 2007 Suburban is tow ready with the Bargman socket in the rear. It just needs a brake controller installed.

Your 2007 Chevy Suburban is ready to have a brake controller installed, but no plug is present under the dash, but the needed wires are already run. You will connect the brake controller wiring with the vehicle wiring already present under the dash.
The install video I attached will walk you through the process.
