Question:
Will this cargo mount interfere with the equalizer hitch draw bars?
asked by: Rex V
Expert Reply:
The Trailer Tray Cargo Carrier, # CC-255 should not interfere with your Equalizer Weight Distribution bars because it's mounting pockets can attach almost anywhere along your trailer's A-frame. Stromberg Carlson did a great job designing this versatile tray. You can mount a generator, compressor, cooler or other cargo that won't fit in your trunk or trailer.
Simply install your weight distribution system according to the manufacturer's instructions first, and then select a mounting location for the tray. The tray can be mounted as close as 2 to 3 inches from the trailer. Once the tray is mounted, you can secure your cargo to one of the tie-down eyelets on the edges or one of the numerous holes in the tray top using bungee cords like # EM06623 or straps like # 34414.
