The Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch with TUFFPLATE Finish, Single Speed - 900 lbs # DL15002 can only have the handle mounted on the right side. If you want a left hand drive, I recommend the Dutton-Lainson Brake Winch with TUFFPLATE Finish - Self-Locking - Left Hand Direct Drive - 1,200 lbs # DL16331.

For either application, I recommend the Hand Winch Cable with Safety Hook 3/16" Diameter x 25' Long - 1,800 lbs # DL24043.

Yes. The Dutton-Lainson Brake Winch with TUFFPLATE Finish, Self-Locking - 1,200 lbs # DL14934 is the matching right hand drive version of the # DL16331.
