Question:

I like to confirm the RR66GR, flush mount, is compatible with the 2017 model year it should be the same as the 2016. Also which 6 pair ski racks can be used with this rack? Can the Thule 6 pair with the pull out extender mount on these racks? Thanks.

The Rhino Rack Vortex kit, part # RR66GR is a confirmed fit for the 2017 Acura RDX without any existing side rails. Rhino Rack makes a functionally similar kit as part # JA7969 for vehicles with existing siderails.

Thule's SnowPack Extender Ski Carrier, part # TH7325 is a confirmed fit for the Rhino Rack Vortex bars. I tested this fit myself to be sure. The Speed-Link straps do a great job of adjusting to a wide variety of shapes and types of bars. I've included a video review of this carrier so you can get a better idea of how it works. I do strongly recommend the Thule Pull-Top as a great carrier.
