If Water Lines of RV are Blown Out with CAM 36103 Is Antifreeze Still Needed in Lines
Updated 09/13/2017 | Published 09/11/2017 >
Question:
Hi, do you need to add anti-freeze if you blow out all the water in the pipes ? I dont see how the pipes would freeze and crack if there is no water in the pipes even with a few s of water remaining. thanks

This is a really good question. I checked with Camco and they state that it really comes down to personal preference. With the Camco RV Water Line Blow-Out Plug # CAM36103 you will have removed all of the water from the lines so using antifreeze after isn't technically necessary, but still a lot of people do it.
