Question:

Will the Rocky Mount Switch hitter fit properly with the Toyota installed OEM crossbars? Is it a good rack for a 2017 Toyota RAV4 SE with a standard Road Bike with Quick Release

The RockyMounts Switch Hitter, part # RKY1270, is sized to fit most factory crossbars. I went to the warehouse and measured the size of the mounting clamps for this rack. The front mounting point is a flexible rubber strip that can fit up to a 2- inch thick crossbar. The rear is an adjustable, screw-mounted assembly that can fit up to a 3-1/2 inch wide crossbar, and up to a thickness of 1-3/4 inch. This fits a wide number of crossbar shapes and sizes. You'll need to verify your vehicle's roof capacity before loading anything onto the roof.

This is a good match for a standard quick release road bike. Its tray even has a cutaway for disc brake configured bikes.
