Question:
need to find a roof rack system for a 2006 Infiniti G35 4-door sedan. need to be able to roof rack a 10-13 foot kayak, max weight of about 75 lbs. Do you know of any kits you may have that would be able to accomplish this?

Expert Reply:
I suggest the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero roof rack system for your 2006 Infiniti G35 because it will be quieter than almost all other options and because it offers excellent value. The rack consists of parts # RRVA126B-2, # RRRLKVA and # DK156.
The black Vortex bars are made of aluminum for light weight and freedom from rust and corrosion and their black finish gives much more of an original-equipment (OEM) appearance.
For a kayak carrier I suggest the etrailer J-style carrier # E98878 for its high 150-lb weight capacity. It includes both load and tie down straps. I suggest checking your Infiniti owner's manual to confirm the car's roof weight capacity.
