I was wanting to know if a Edge evolution 206060 programmer will work on my 2000 Chevy 1500 with the 4.8l I thinking about buying one the guy said he had it on a 01 and it worked but online it says it will not what do yall think

Edge Programmers are only compatible with certain vehicles. We do have Edge programmers confirmed to fit your 2000 Chevy 1500 4.8L. I can't tell you that the programmer you mentioned didn't work, but it was not designed to fit by the manufacturer, so the parameters may not have been optimized.

I recommend the Edge EvoHT2 Hand-Held Performance Tuner - GM - Gas/Diesel # EP26040. This will give you up to 15.8 hp increase and up to 22 ft lbs torque. This will give you the most adjustability, but if you want to get the monitor you will want the Edge Gas Evolution CS2 Performance Tuner- Color Screen # EP85350 which will give you up to 15 hp increase and up to 15 ft lbs torque but will also give you the color screen with monitor and suction cup mount.

The product number you gave does not match any Edge Programmer.
