Expert Reply:
A tire with a 225mm width can mount to more than one rim width. This tire can fit on rims with widths of 6-, 6-1/2, and 7-inches. Typically smaller tires that are used on trailers (8, 9, 10 and 12-inch diameters) will fit only one specific rim width. For instance, a trailer tire of size ST205/65-10 can fit only on a 10 x 6 rim.
Be sure to always use only vehicle wheels and tires on a vehicle, and only trailer wheels and tires on a trailer.
