Wanted to make sure that this would fit the 2006 E55 AMG wagon.

Yes, the Curt Class I Trailer Receiver Hitch, # C11701, is confirmed to fit a 2006 Mercedes-Benz E350 Wagon or E55 AMG.
If are planning to use the hitch for non-trailer loads like a bike rack or cargo carrier, the Curt requires the use of a stabilizer strap, like # 18050, with these accessories. The strap is used for extra support and if not used will void the hitch warranty.
I have included a video of the Curt being installed in a 2003 E-Class for you to review the installation of this hitch.
