As you may already know, you will need to find the total tongue weight of your towing setup by adding the tongue weight of both your loaded ready to tow trailer and any cargo stored behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle in order to select the correct weight distribution system.
According to Nada guides, your 2004 KZ FRONTIER 24FT TRAVEL trailer has a dry weight rating of 4,090 lbs. The average total tongue weight (TW) rating of a trailer is typically 10-15% of the gross trailer weight (GTW). As the total tongue weight will vary largely between trailers, I cannot provide you with an exact figure. However, an easy way to find this would involve using a tongue weight scale like the etrailer Trailer Tongue Weight Scale part # e99044.
The Curt TruTack Weight Distribution Systems are great options, however, I recommend using an Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System as these are our most popular top of the line options we carry. For a total tongue weight between 600-1,000 lbs, I recommend part # EQ37100ET, part # EQ37120ET for a total tongue weight between 800-1,200 lbs, and part # EQ37140ET for a total tongue weight between 1,000 and 1,400 lbs.
I have attached a video review of the Equal-i-zer weight distribution system for you.
