Rhino-Rack StealthBar Roof Rack and Basket Fit for a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk

Hello, I would like to purchase the following for my 2014 Cherokee Trailhawk w/Rails. Rhino-Rack Vortex StealthBar Roof Rack Part Numbers: JA7972 Also, I was hoping to use this basket. Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 57inch Long x 42inch Wide Item # RMCB02. My concern is the mounting hardware for the basket would not be compatible with those bars. The bars being too close to the roof that the basket mounting hardware would either be too large or unusable. Is my hunch correct? I would prefer to use the Vortex Stealth Roof Rack. If the Rhino Basket is not compatible can you suggest a basket that is comparable in size that would work? Thanks.

I am certain that you will not have a problem mounting Rhino-Rack basket # RMCB02 with the StealthBar roof rack # JA7972 on your 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. Basically, even though this is a low-profile roof rack, the bottoms of the basket mount hardware will still be about level with the tops of the side rails on your Jeep. Take a look at the picture I have included showing a close up of how far the hardware goes.

Now if could be a little difficult to get the hardware in place because of the limited amount of space. But if you and an assistant mount the basket to the bars with everything off of the vehicle and then move the whole assembly to the roof, bars and basket together, it would remedy that problem (if it even is a problem which it might not be).
