The designers of performance tuners cannot predict what other products customers might be using
(such as a better-breathing exhaust and intake) so they really have to design their tuners for the bone-stock vehicle. Sometimes it is okay to "stack" different performance products but this may not always be the case with a particular combination of tuner and, in this case, a modified exhaust.

You want to be careful to avoid creating a too-lean fuel mixture that can lead to reduced overall performance.
