Tonneau Cover Recommendation for 2016 GMC Sierra 3500 with Short Bed and Fifth Wheel Hitch

Question:
Hi, I have a 2016 GMC Sierra 3500HD with a 6.6ft bed. I want to purchase the Bak Flip G2 cover and use my 5th wheel at the same time. Do I need to have the last panel leaning against the cab window or can I just leave it laying flat up by the bulk head. If I dont need to fold it all the way is it safe to pull with the panel laying flat? PS. The bak Flip g2 has 3 or 4 panels there are many sites showing 3 and 4 panels.

With the G2 part # BAK26121 you'd end up needing to have the last panel all the way folded up to get fifth wheel hitch clearance.
A better option would be a retractable cover like the G2 Rollbak part # BAK26121 which is also a fit for your 2016 GMC Sierra 3500 with a short bed. It would easily work well with a fifth wheel.
