Troubleshooting Noise Coming From the Rear of Vehicle When Turning Corners

Question:
I just got a 2012 chevy express box ambulance and notice a loud bang in the rear when I turn corners. When we rock it back and forth we can reproduce the noise and its coming from the rear anti sway bar. You can see it free up and bang when you look at underneath. Do you know what the problem could be?

Sounds like the bushings that connect the sway bar to the vehicle's frame may be worn out. With the bushing worn out there will be extra slop and movement in the connection causing the noise when making your turns.
I recommend replacing the sway bar and bushings. With worn out bushings, the bar may have started to wear on the busing ends and just replacing bushings may only put a band aid on the problem.
Our sway bars from Roadmaster come compete with new bushings and all the hardware needed to install the bar. Plus the bushings are made of sturdy polyurethane that will last much longer than the OEM rubber bushings.
The Roadmaster Sway Bars, like # RM-1109-175, would be an excellent upgrade to the OEM sway bar.
If you can tell me the exact model Express van you have, then I will be able to confirm which Roadmaster sway bar will work for your application.
