Fit of Trailer Hitches on a 2012 Chevrolet Impala with Dual Exhaust

Question:
I am in the market for a hitch for my 2012 chev impala. The hitchs you show me are different than the same models on other sites. the photo shown from underneath is not even a 2012 model, but an older model. the 2012 cars have dual exhausts. Please explain

Trailer hitch receivers are often designed to fit multiple years and model trim packages of vehicles. They work with the variations between those years and models to cover a larger range with one part. So sometimes the pictures or videos we have are on models that aren't exactly the same as your but the install will be very similar, if not identical.
For example, the Draw-Tite # 36407 will fit the Chevrolet Impala from 2000 to 2013 and the Impala Limited from 2014 to 2016. This hitch will fit your 2012 model and we've even got a video of it being installed on a 2012 with the dual exhaust. I've linked the video to this page for you.
