Compression Rate of the Timbren Vehicle Suspension Enhancement System # TGMRC10A on a 1972 GMC C10

Question:

I was thinking of using this kit on a 72 GMC p/u with a full length bed, to aid in pulling a 27 camper trailer. I estimate the tongue load 800 to 1000 lbs. Percentage wise, how far compressed would these rubbers be?

There is no way to determine the amount of compression of the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System, item # TGMC10A, because the condition of your vehicles suspension, the actual weight of the load placed on the trailer tongue and the weight of any items in the bed of your truck would contribute to more or less compression.

I can tell you that the Timbren systems work very well, I have a similar system on my truck, and that the rubber springs compress progressively less and more weight is added to them. On my truck a trailer load that normally sat the truck down to the factory bump stops now only squats the rear of the truck 2 to 3 inches.
