We have several 5th wheel slider options that will fit your 2017 Ford F-350 4x4 short bed with the factory prep package. For short bed trucks I recommend going with the hitch that offers the most travel. In this case it is the Demco HiJacker # DM8550024 which has 14 inches of travel and slides automatically. This hitch is rated for 18,000 pounds. There is also a 21K version # DM8550038.
Curt also has several options:
# C16520-16020 rated for 16K
# C16530-16020 rated for 20K
# C16545-16020 rated for 24K
The Curt hitches also have cushioned heads but the sliders are activated manually.
We also have B&W slider # BWRVK3370 rated for 20K and Reese Elite Series # RP30144 rated for 18K. I have included links to videos on all of these hitches for you.
