I have a traction device that will fit the 285/70R17 tire, but the ISSE Hybrid Snow Sock, # TCH58, will not fit this size tire.
The Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains, # TC3029, are an alternate low-profile option to using the Snow Sock and are conformed to fit a 285/70R17 tire. The ladder cable design will provide far batter traction and at the same time giving you the clearance needed to mount these cables to your tires without any clearance issues.
