Hi, can you please tell me whether I can use this cable harness Hopkin # 48915 for my 2011 ford escape.

Technically you could use Hopkins trailer wiring harness # HM48915 on your 2011 Ford Escape. But since your 2011 Ford Escape uses a combined wiring system (brake lights and turn signals on the same bulbs) you would ground the red wire with the white wire. Brown is for running lights, yellow is left turn/brake lights, green is right turn/brake lights, and white is ground. Using this harness means you would have to splice into the vehicle wiring.
For a much easier installation I recommend the T-One harness # 118551 that plugs in line with the vehicle tail light connectors. It does require a connection to the battery but that is how the trailer lights will get their power. This design protects the vehicle wiring and electrical systems from getting overdrawn.
