Question:
I also should have mentioned I will be wiring it for flat towing. That's another 4 wire flat cable to the rear. Would like to connect either 6 pin car to 7 pin RV or 7 to 7 pin and have some additional capability. Charging the toe or brake signal to the dash etc.

For your 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport S, I recommend you start with the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118416. The connection points for this adapter are behind the driver's side tail lights. Then you will want to use the 7-Pole and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Sockets w/ Mounting Bracket and Wiring - Vehicle End # HM40975-11998 to hardwire to that 4-way. Next, you will want to use the Draw-Tite Wiring Kit for 2, 4, 6, and 8 Brake Electric Trailer Brake Controllers # 5506. This will allow you to wire a brake controller and run power to your 7-way with the proper circuit breaker.
For a brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This brake controller is a proportional system that will allow you to apply the brakes on your trailer with the same intensity and at the same time as you hit the brake pedal in your Jeep. It has an easy to read and understand LCD screen that takes code deciphering out of the equation. There are 3 levels of boost and it is customizable to your driving preferences.
This will be all you need to add the 7-way to your vehicle and make it fully functioning.
