Question:
I read how easy it is to install, no tools, just slide it over your existing mirror, but what keeps it from sliding off? Thanks

I went out into our warehouse to pull a # 11601 and found that to install this CIPA Custom Towing Mirror, part # 11601, you must first insert the included contoured wedge into the inside of the towing mirror. This wedge is contoured to the back of the existing mirror on your 2002 Ford F-150.
Next, you will slip the towing mirror over your existing mirror, and then you will tighten the included screw knob through the raised hole on the back of the towing mirror and tighten securely.
What this does is push the contoured wedge into the back of your existing mirror and applies pressure from within the towing mirror and pins the towing mirror to your existing mirror and keeps it securely installed onto your vehicle.
If you need a passenger side mirror you would want CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors, part # 11602.
