How to Make an RV Roof Fan Run in the Opposite Direction
Updated 02/14/2017 | Published 02/12/2017 >
Question:
I want to use one vent for out-put and one for in-take to circulate air in my van. I saw this idea on You Tube by BugOutMoto video Stealth Motorcycle Camper Van 2.0 Review Better. How do I reverse the direction of one of the fans?

Expert Reply:
It depends on the fan and its design. Some fans cannot be reversed. Most RV fans can be reversed by switching the polarity or essentially wiring it backwards. Another possible option is you can flip the fan blade itself over and the blades will move the air in the opposite direction. Some fans are designed to be reversible so all you need to do is flip a switch, like # FV801250.
