How to Remove the End Caps on Rhino-Rack Roof Rack # RR35SR

Question:
Hi, I purchased this rack system from etrailer and I am attaching rhino rack ski carrier. I prefer sliding them into the channel over the clamps. Before I break anything, how do I access the channel. Right now there is a cover blocking it, and before I pry or pull anything I want to confirm. Does it simply pop off? or is there a clip I should press? Thanks

The feet on Rhino-Rack roof rack # RR35SR have a cap that is held in place using a locking/latching mechanism. All you have to do is unlock it by turning the key counter clockwise and the caps can come of the feet. Reverse the process to put the cap back on and secure it to the foot.
