Question:
Hello, I am having a hard time locating a Class III hitch to fit my truck which has the short 5foot 6inch truck bed. It seems that Hitch Code: 75085 your order screen is the specific model that will fit my short bed GMC Sonoma. I have read the reviews and there is one man that provided a picture of the installation that pretty well looks like my truck except he did specify if his was a crew cab or not. Could you confirm if this is the hitch that will fit my 2004 GMC Sonoma Crew Cab 4W SLS 4.3L V6 ?? Thanks for your help.

The Draw-Tite Max Frame # 75085 is confirmed to fit your 2004 GMC Sonoma Crew Cab as long as you have either the factory step bumper or non-towing bumper.
If your truck has the factory roll pan bumper then the Curt # 13920 is the correct hitch.
If you're going to be towing with your truck you may also need wiring for your trailer's lights. The Curt Wiring Harness # C55359 will provide a 4-way trailer connector. This installs by plugging into your truck's wiring behind the rear bumper, along the driver's side frame rail.
Then for a ball mount I've linked our selection that will fit the hitch as well as an article to help you determine the correct rise or drop you'll need. For example the Curt # C45010 provides either 3/4 inches of rise or 2 inches of drop. Then for a hitch ball use # 63845 for a 2 inch ball or # 19260 for a 1-7/8 inch. Then use # PC3 for a pin and clip.
