Oil Filter Relocation Kit for 1995 Catalina 36 MKii Sailboat M35 Universal Engine
Published 02/07/2017 >
Question:
I am considering adding an oil filter relocation kit for my 1995 Catalina 36 MKii sailboat. It has the Universal/Westerbeeke M35 engine which is built on the Kubota V1200 engine block. The Universal oil filter part number is 300209. I have the following questions: 1. Which Derale relocation kit would work for my engine? 2. What oil filter would be used for the relocation mount? 3. Are these relocation kits recommended for marine applications? Thanks in advance for your answers and guidance. Best regards,

I looked up the thread dimensions of your universal oil filter 300209 and it uses the 3/4-16 inch thread size so the relocation kit part # D15748 would work well as it has a thread adapter that matches that.
Your same filter would work with this kit too. You can use these kits in marine applications.
