I have a 4400 lb travel trailer and I am interested in buying a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 4.7 V-8 engine. Once loaded I may be hauling 5500 lbs. is this a good buy for what I need? Will it tow the weight w no problems? Thanks

Everythin I could find on your 2002 Grand Cherokee says that the towing capacity would be 5,000 lbs. You would want to verify that with the owners manual of your vehicle too.
If you were right at your capacity (but not over), the weight distribution system part # RP66084 would be a bit too high for what your vehicle could tow since it's tongue weight range is 600-1,200 lbs. Instead the part # RP66083 would be a better fit as it has a range of 400 to 800 lbs tongue weight.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
