How To Determine if the Thule Force XT XXL Rooftop Cargo Box will Fit Your Vehicle

Im wondering if the Thule force will fit on my 2014 Toyota RAV4. It seems as if the antenna will be in the way and / or that the hatch would not be able to open fully.

The Thule Force XT XXL Rooftop Cargo Box - 21 cu ft - AeroSkin Black, # TH6359B, is a very nice low-profile cargo box. It has built-in quick grip clamps that let you mount the box to your roof rack in about 5 minutes. The locking lid opens from either side to allow loading and SecureLocks ensure you can only remove the key when the box is properly closed and locked. It is made of a rugged ABS plastic to resist weather, UV rays, and impact. It requires a crossbar spread between 23-5/8 inches minimum and 37-1/2 inches maximum. It's external dimensions are 90-1/2 inches long x 35-1/2 inches wide x 18-3/4 inches tall.

I have attached an article and a photo that will help you determine if this roof box will fit your 2014 Rav4 by making some simple measurements. The Thule Force XT XXL needs 54-3/4 inches of front clearance which is from the center of the front crossbar to the top hatch lip where your hatch meets the roof of your vehicle. You will have to measure to see if you can clear the antenna side to side as well based on the dimensions listed above.
