Can a BedRug be Installed over a Line X Spray in Bed Liner ON A 2009 GMC Sierra Crew Cab

Question:

Looking at a Bedrug for a 2009 GMC Sierra Crew Cab pickup truck. I already have a Line X spray in liner and trying to figure out how the hook and loop pieces stick to the Line X liner for the installation. How does that work? Thanks.

Installation of the BedRug Custom Truck Bed Liner, over a Line X bed liner, would require that the use of an adhesive promoter. Apply the promoter to the locations on the Line X liner where the hook and loop fasteners must attach to the truck bed.

I spoke with my contact at BedRug and their recommendation is for use of 3M adhesive promoter, they stated that this promoter is available at most local hardware stores.
